Open Mercato Implementation. Built around your business.
Open Mercato gives you 80% of the system out of the box. We configure the other 20% around your processes, your people, and how you actually work. Mercato Ops - independent implementation agency based in Poland.

Open Mercato Implementation - what we do
Eight areas where we deliver Open Mercato implementations. Every project is shaped around how your business actually runs.

Open Mercato CRM Implementation
We set up your sales pipeline, contact records, automated follow-ups and reports. Your sales team opens the system and sees exactly what they need to do today.

Open Mercato ERP Implementation
We configure order workflows, stock levels, production tracking and invoicing. Instead of 4 spreadsheets and 3 email threads - one system that actually agrees with itself.

Open Mercato B2B Commerce Implementation
We build an ordering portal for your B2B customers - product configurator, individual price lists, order history. Your clients order on their own, no phone calls needed.

Integrations & Data Migrations
We connect Open Mercato to what you already have - accounting, warehouse, e-commerce platforms. Data from your current system gets moved over without any downtime.

Open Mercato Self-Service Portals
We build customer and partner portals - forms, guided flows, ticket history. Your clients help themselves without tying up your back office.

Open Mercato Workflows Implementation
We configure automated document and process flows - approvals, escalations, notifications. Instead of chasing people manually - the system handles it for you.

Open Mercato Production Management
We set up the production module - work orders, schedules, stage automation and reporting. Production under control in one place.

Open Mercato AI Assistant
We deploy the built-in AI assistant - it searches data, answers team questions, and triggers actions in the system. Your people ask in plain language, the system responds.

What companies say about their Open Mercato implementation
Feedback from people who went through the implementation process with us.
The Open Mercato implementation brought order to our sales. Reps stopped keeping contacts on their phones, and management finally has real pipeline visibility.
Sales Director
We moved from Excel to Open Mercato in 6 weeks. The team adapted quickly because the system is intuitive and well-fitted to our processes.
Business Owner
Our B2B customers now order through the portal on their own, without calling the office. Order handling takes a fraction of the time it used to.
Operations Manager
Open source means we're not locked into one vendor. We have full access to the code and control over our data - that was critical for us.

Open Mercato implementation questions
Straight answers to the most common questions about Open Mercato implementations - timeline, cost, security, integrations and post-launch support.
01How long does an Open Mercato implementation take?
A typical Open Mercato implementation is 8-10 weeks from signed contract to working system. A simple CRM implementation for a small team can be done in 4-6 weeks. Larger implementations with lots of integrations - up to 14 weeks. We always give you a specific go-live date in the contract so you can plan around it.
02What does an Open Mercato implementation cost?
Open Mercato implementation Starter from EUR 3,500, Business from EUR 8,000. Enterprise - we quote individually after discussing scope. Most of our clients end up in the EUR 6,000-15,000 range for an implementation. Book a call and we'll have a quote ready within 24 hours.
03Is Open Mercato secure and GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Open Mercato encrypts data in transit and at rest, data is stored on EU servers, and the system is fully GDPR-compliant. You have full access to the source code - you can review it, commission a security audit, or host it on your own infrastructure. There are no hidden data transfers outside the EU.
04What happens after the Open Mercato implementation? What support do I get?
We don't leave you on your own. Depending on the package, you get 1-12 months of post-implementation support included. During that time we fix bugs, answer questions, help with configuration, and train new employees. After that period, you can move to an ongoing service agreement with guaranteed SLA or manage things yourself.
05Can you migrate data as part of the Open Mercato implementation?
Yes, data migration is included in every Open Mercato implementation. We migrate from Salesforce, HubSpot, SAP, Excel, and other CRM/ERP systems - basically anything you can export data from. Before migrating, we show you a sample of the transferred data so you can verify everything looks right. The whole process is zero-downtime - your old system runs until the moment we switch over.
06We don't have an IT department. Can we still get an Open Mercato implementation?
Absolutely. Most of our clients don't have in-house IT. We handle the entire implementation from A to Z - configuration, training, support, hosting. Your people just need to know how to use a browser, we take care of the rest. And if you do have an IT person, we're happy to work with them and transfer system knowledge.
07Why Open Mercato implementation instead of Salesforce or HubSpot?
Three reasons. First, you own your data and code - Open Mercato is open source, no vendor lock-in. Second, you don't pay escalating per-user licence fees - with 20 users, Salesforce costs over EUR 7,000 per year in licences alone. Third, we can customise literally every element of the system to match your processes. Salesforce gives you their system on their terms. An Open Mercato implementation gives you your system.
08Is Open Mercato open source? What does that mean in practice?
Yes, Open Mercato is 100% open source. In practice, this means: full visibility into the source code, no licence fees, ability to host on your own servers, no vendor lock-in, and an active developer community. If you ever want to switch implementation agencies or develop the system yourself - you can do that without any restrictions. You only pay for implementation work and support.
09Does Open Mercato integrate with my accounting system?
Yes, we integrate Open Mercato with popular accounting systems including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, FreshBooks, as well as Polish systems like Optima and Symfonia. Integration covers automatic synchronisation of invoices, contacts and payments. If your system has an API - we'll connect it. If it doesn't - we'll find a workaround through file export/import.
10Can I use Open Mercato on my phone?
Yes. Open Mercato has a responsive interface that works in any mobile browser on phones and tablets. A sales rep in the field can check client history, update a deal status, or add notes from their phone. No app installation required - just a browser.
11What does team training look like after the Open Mercato implementation?
We train on the live system with your real company data, not slides. Depending on the package, you get 2-5 training sessions. Each is about 1.5 hours and is recorded - your team can revisit the recording at any time. We train administrators and end users separately because they have different needs. New employees can learn from recordings or book an additional session.
12Does Open Mercato support multiple currencies and languages?
Yes. Open Mercato supports multiple currencies (PLN, EUR, USD, GBP and others) with automatic exchange rate conversion. The system is multilingual - the interface is available in English, Polish, German and many other languages. If you have an international team or foreign clients, everyone can work in their own language.
13Does the Open Mercato implementation include process automation?
Yes, automation is one of the most important elements of every implementation. We configure automatic lead assignment to sales reps, overdue follow-up notifications, automatic invoice generation, order approval workflows and much more. Every automation is tailored to how your process actually works - we don't force you into pre-built templates.
14How many users can work in Open Mercato at the same time?
There's no technical limit. Open Mercato is built on modern architecture that scales with your business. We have clients with 5 users and with 200+. You don't pay per-user licence fees like with Salesforce or HubSpot - that's one of the main advantages of open source. Cost depends only on server infrastructure, which you can scale as needed.
15Can I start with CRM and add ERP later?
Yes, that's a very common scenario. Many of our clients start with an Open Mercato CRM implementation and add ERP, Commerce, or additional integrations a few months later. The system is modular - each module works independently and connects to the others without additional integration work. This means you don't have to spend everything at once.
16Does Open Mercato have a built-in AI assistant?
Yes. Open Mercato has a built-in AI assistant that helps with daily work in the system. You can ask questions about your data in natural language, request record updates, generate summaries and reports. The assistant understands the context of your data and can perform operations on it after user confirmation. It's like having an extra team member who knows your entire system.
